I'm doing a 4x8 raised bed in my back yard. I've never done sweet potatoes before, so how many slips would you generally want to do? If I follow the basic rules I read about, it's 36 slips in that box. Does that sound about right? How many potatoes generally yield per slip?

Thanks for your question! 36 slips in a 4x8ft raised bed sounds just right to me. A good yield for sweet potatoes is about 5-7 roots per plant/slip.
Hope that helps!
